Drawn Outdoors Hike: Whyte Lake
Join us for a relaxed forest hike - sketching adventure through lush coastal rainforest to the peaceful shores of Whyte Lake. Tucked away in Whyte Lake, this trail offers a completely different vibe - think mossy paths, towering cedars, and still water reflections instead of big mountain viewpoints.
On a spring day in May, we’ll blend gentle hiking with mindful creativity, pausing at the lake to sketch and do some plein air painting.
No experience needed - whether you’re new to drawing or already filling sketchbooks, this experience is about slowing down, connecting with nature, and expressing what you see in your own way.
You’ll be led by Delaney Cox, an illustrator and artist passionate about connecting creativity with the outdoors. She’ll share simple techniques for capturing atmosphere, depth, and mood - perfect for both beginners and experienced sketchers.
