Drawn Outdoors Hike: Cleveland Dam + Capilano Canyon

Combine hiking and creativity in this guided adventure around Cleveland Dam + Capilano Canyon in North Vancouver on Sunday August 10th. We’ll begin with a gentle one-hour loop along the canyon, followed by a two-hour drawing session overlooking the mountains. Surrounded by the Two Sister mountains, serene water, tall trees, and the sounds of the forest, I’ll guide you through a relaxed drawing session focused on forest landscapes, reflections, and natural textures. You’ll learn how to capture the stillness and detail of this beautiful setting in your own unique way.

You’ll be led by me, Becky Hill, an illustrator and artist who’s passionate about connecting with the outdoors. I’ll demonstrate techniques for drawing layered forest scenes and creating mood and depth in your work—perfect for both beginners and experienced artists alike.
