Black Tusk is one of the most iconic peaks in British Columbia, and its Squamish name, ‘t’ak’t’ak mu’yin’ (The Landing Place of the Thunderbird), makes it even more special. Sitting in the unceded territories of the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish) and Lil̓wat Nations. This print captures its snow-covered beauty—a little nod to those crisp alpine days and the deep history of this landscape.

A note from the artist:

"In my illustrations, I focus on the magic of nature and the special memories tied to local mountains and landscapes. Each piece aims to capture the beauty and emotional significance of these places, using collaged paint strokes and vibrant colors. I want viewers to feel a connection to the land and remember their own special moments in nature."
